To give potential clients an idea of pricing, we have put together a list of common services and the fees. Of course, projects can vary in scope which will affect the pricing.

 

Create Press Kit and Media Kit ($350)
•Pitch letter ($125 individually); bio ($65 individually); one sheet company overview ($125 individually); & fact sheet ($125 individually)

 

Write and Send Press Releases and Articles (prices are per press release or article)
•Writing, editing and proofreading ($125)
•Distribution via 888 Press Release ($150 – no mark-up)
•Send to media and perform two rounds of follow-up ($12 per outlet)

 

Pitch Local, National and International Media
•Develop pitch letter – includes writer, editor and proofreader ($125)
•Send to media and perform two rounds of follow-up ($12 per outlet)
•Additional costs may be incurred for creative pitches including materials and mailing (will be pre-approved)

 

Grant Writing Assistance
•Grant writing assistance for one to five pages, background information must be supplied by the nonprofit ($125 flat fee plus an additional amount equal to 5 percent of the grant amount if received)
•Grant writing assistance for six to 10 pages, background information must be supplied by the nonprofit ($225 flat fee plus an additional amount equal to 5 percent of the grant amount if received)
•Grant writing assistance for over 10 pages, background information must be supplied by the nonprofit (flat fee TBD plus an additional amount equal to 5 percent of the grant amount if received)

 

Website Design and Maintenance
•Design – overall look and feel ($95 – one designer, three options)
•Programming – WordPress ($80 per page)
•Copywriting with editor and proofreader ($75 per page)
•Maintenance ($80 per hour)
•Domain name purchase and basic hosting package from GoDaddy.com also required
•Search engine submissions ($50 per month, minimum three months)

 

Online Marketing
•Creation of Facebook page as a mini website ($350)
•Blog writing ($55 per blog entry)
•Social media content writing ($55 per posting)
•Posting social media to client’s social media sites ($35 per posting)
•Posting social media to LinkedIn groups ($35 per posting, up to 10 groups)
•Tweets ($6.50 each)
•Online listening and connections to potential audiences ($50 per hour)
•LinkedIn Profile ($65)

 

Email Marketing
•Email marketing ($65 writing; $125 graphic design; and $80 for programming)

 

Branding Materials
•Naming of product, service or company ($150)
•Logo creation ($225 – one designer, three options; $450 – two designers, six options; or $675 – three designers, nine options)

•Create a white paper or case study ($375 for writing, editing and proofing)

Bi-Monthly or Quarterly Client/Potential Client Newsletter
•Use stories created for press releases and articles plus company news and profiles ($75 per page for writing)

Speaking Engagements
•List creation of potential venues ($2.50 per company/organization/contact)
•Contacting companies/organizations via email and phone ($15 per contact, up to two rounds of follow-up)

Hourly Rate for Planning Sessions, Meetings, Etc.:
